The Person Behind the Camera...

Hey, I'm Nick!

Founder and Owner of First Response Photography, Nick Borowski, is a York Region-based emergency photographer and videographer.

While working on my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with hopes of becoming a Law Enforcement Officer, I use my spare time to capture the men and women of York Region's Fire, Police, and Paramedic service(s). I use my following on social media to help educate the public on emergencies happening around York Region and the GTA and to showcase the work that our First Responders do every single day​, showcasing them in a good light. 

First Response Photography was started in January of 2020 when I decided to try and take pictures of some police cars following an armed robbery in Aurora, after getting one blurry picture of a York Regional Police cruiser, the First Response account was created and it has grown exponentially. As the following began to develop, I invested in more tools such as various scanners and radios, a new camera, more camera equipment, and software tools to help with editing, communication, and emergency call tracking.

I continue to use First Response Photography to showcase our First Responders and provide them with pictures of them working and memories that will last them a lifetime.
